Welcome

The Branch Friends Network exists to support all the various library friends groups throughout Oakland.  Our purpose is to bring together these various groups in an effort to pool information, resources and knowledge.

We support our branch friends in the following ways:

• We advocate on their behalf to the Oakland Library administration.

• We provide outreach to branch friends groups, and assistance with setting up and administering their group.

• An opportunity to share information, and keep up-to-date on the going on at each branch.
